ESS ERIC, European Social Survey ERIC, brings world-leading expertise in cross-national survey design. In this project, they will coordinate the CRONOS panel – CROss-National Online Survey which is the world’s first large scale, cross-national, probability-based, web-first self-completion panel.

The administration of the panel is being led by City St. George’s, University of London, with support from CENTERDATA, GESIS – Leibniz Institute for the Social Sciences, Sikt – Norwegian Agency for Shared Services in Education and Research, University of Essex, and University of Lund.

Fieldwork is being coordinated in 11 countries, led by national teams based at Institute for Advanced Studies Vienna, IHS, Institute of Social Sciences, University of Lisbon, ICS-ULisboa, Institute of Sociology of the Czech Academy of Sciences, KU Leuven, National Centre for Social Research, Polish Academy of Sciences, Sciences Po, Social Science Research Center, HUN-REN TK, University of Ljubljana, University of Iceland, and University of Turku.
