GGP, Generations and Gender Programme, hosted by KNAW/NIDI – Netherlands Interdisciplinary Demographic Institute and founded by United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE), provides high-quality, cross-national data on family dynamics, intergenerational relations, and population change.

With surveys collected in over 30 countries, GGP adopts a life-course perspective and was Europe’s first major panel survey to shift online. Its rich, longitudinal data supports demographic resilience and informs social and family policy across Europe and beyond.
